This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth study of various methodologies and data analytic strategies used in cultural psychological research. Cultural Psychology focuses on how culture and psychological processes exist in a bi-directional relationship. This course will teach students to think like a cultural psychologist. Significant time is devoted to unpacking the empirical methods utilized to examine the relationship between various psychological phenomena and diversity in social and cultural contexts. PSY 101 is a prerequisite for this course and PSY 310 is recommended.
