ENSEMBLE THEATRE MAKING COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is an experiential study of making theatre through the act of devising (creating something out of nothing). Students will develop and create original theatre work in an ensemble setting through a series of playful acting exercises and creative writing prompts. By studying various theatre makers, the ensemble will adapt these original creators’ tested techniques to make their own comical, zany and compelling theatre piece. The course combines acting with design and writing--what could be more fun!
