First, I would ask whether their course has a resource guide they can look through for databases. Then, I'd recommend a general key term search on the library catalogue with a filter on for peer-reviewed articles and maybe political science as a topic. If that doesn't bring any results they can use, I'd suggest they look through some of the journals or political science databases through the library.
