Scope: What is the scope of the database (e.g. date range, types of sources, topic areas)?

This source contains environmental and agricultural science literature from scholarly journals, trade and industry journals, magazines, technical reports, conference proceedings, and government publications.   Also includes some visual media sources as well.  It has an date range of 1960s to present.

Features: What specific search features does this database have (look at things like the advanced search, if it has a thesaurus, or look up any how-to documentation the database provides)

Has an extensive advanced search feature.  You can limit search by date range, type of sources, and content.  There is also a why to limit search to just the peer review articles if a class requires that

Use Cases: Based on your exploration, come up with some hypothetical use cases and example searches that you could imagine a student doing in this database.

Research project on pollution, climate change, or an environmental science course.  Changes in lakes or regional biomes. If they need peer reviewed sources only. Would work better if they were looking for more modern sources of pollution.  Would not be as good for looking at historical viewpoints of environmental issues.

The database specifically houses declassified documents of the US government from the 20th century to the 21st century.

Has a thing called topic finder which could find related articles or topics if a person is stil trying to figure out their project.

Can search by classification of when it was classified to only find the stuff that was really not meant to be seen as well as document type if this person is look for a certain type of document or address.

Use Cases: Based on your exploration, come up with some hypothetical use cases and example searches that you could imagine a student doing in this database.

If they were looking into a scandalous period of US history or a war effort.  Additionally if they were looking for espionage from wars the accord in the last two centuries.  Potentially any topic for US history in the last century could benefit from a cursor search in this database, especially if it is related to US foreign relations or the US government.
