Respondus Lockdown Browser is a special-purpose browser designed to allow your professor to restrict access to disallowed websites, applications, and system functions during a quiz. Use of Lockdown Browser is optional -- not every professor will use it, but when it is used, they will let you know. Lockdown quizzes may be taken:

  • On your personal computer (instructions), which requires that you install Lockdown Browser first, or
  • On a Davidson-owned public lab computer (instructions ), which already has Lockdown Browser installed
