Body Writing and Writing with the Body
This IN PERSON upper level course is designed to engage students in a thought-provoking process of critical thinking focusing on body writing and writing with the body as we explore a relevant body of XXI Latin American fiction narratives. Concentrating on analytical, argumentative, and creative reading practices, we will discuss bold strategies in postmodern Latin American narratives by Latin American Women Writers which challenge their obsessive readers’ positionalities posing raw socio-cultural engendered questions.
