Course Description:
Drawing is a fundamental aspect of human thought, serving as a stimulus to the imagination. This course will serve as an exploration into drawing as a method of research, reflection, observation, investigation and communication. You will be introduced to various drawing materials and strategies for developing flexible ways to connect ideas and techniques.
Instructors Introduction:
This is a student-centered class that will foster a safe space where vulnerability, empathy, and interconnectivity form the foundation for our discussions. The goal for this class will be to take experimentation and creativity seriously in order to allow students to individually and collectively expand their artistic output as cultural producers.
